My daughter found this quaint little shop with a variety of artisans and vendors selling their wares within. Tucked back deep inside was a tiny book nook.
I had my Sony with me, but my flash wasn’t fired to full power when I hit the shutter. I was in too much of a hurry, trying to get a shot in between the other customers bearing down on us. We waited around a little bit, hoping for it to clear out some, but it never did.
So, I just took what I had and made it kind of artsy. I present to you:

I like the soft effect. It puts the focus on her and the books as context and concept rather than making them distracting. Nice portrait! And good work making it from what you thought was a failed shot.
