Johnson’s Shut-ins State Park
The last stop on our adventure was Johnson’s Shut-ins State Park. During the summer the shut-ins on the Black River are open to swimming in for the public. There have been deaths from swimming in the dangerous rapids. They are beautiful, though.

My spouse and I spent last Saturday visiting three Missouri state parks. It was a mini adventure and we had so much fun!
I took these pictures at the top of Taum Sauk Mountain, which is the highest point in Missouri!
