who have gone over.” ~ Hunter S. Thompson

This is my first participation in Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness. I went to the zoo yesterday with my daughter and her friend, and snapped these photos with my phone. We got to “pet” and feed the stingrays, which was exciting. The penguins were sleepy, but the birds were active in their sanctuary. It was a fun day!

it is time to pause and REFLECT. –Mark Twain
Here’s one from tonight right before it got totally dark over the lake water.
Driving through Illinois this weekend, just snapping pictures of whatever.
We went for a walk today, and it was windier and colder than I liked. I would have rather been in the gym, but then I would have missed the view.
My husband took these on his phone. I think they turned out beautifully!
I’ve been in a bit of a slump until recently. Should have some new photos of my own to post soon.
