We cleaned out some old stuff in the house because my daughter, 22, is moving back in while she’s in school. Without thinking about it I got rid of some old laptops including the one she used in middle school where she had a bunch of pictures and videos stored of her and her friends. 10 years it has been around without being used and 3 weeks after I get rid of it she asks for it because one of her friends passed away unexpectedly this week. I feel terrible. They are gone, not in the cloud or anything.
