This was taken at one of my favorite spots to create pictures because it is close to my home and those who know me know I like to stay close to home like I wrote about here.

Sony A7 III/Lightroom

I am still restoring old photos for people. This one I did completely by hand using Photoshop. No AI filters were used. What do you think?

Happy weekend!

Looks like a hell of work. I also have a hug stack of old ones I need to transfer to digital. Maybe sometime in the future.

Anyway, you really did a nice job. Awesome.

    Bye for now, Tom

Thanks, Tom. A lot of people have tons of old photos boxed up or laying around. It can be overwhelming!

Nice edit! The brown spots near the left eye can be tricky to deal with, but fortunately, the other eye was in good condition. The final result is nicely finished.

i don’t blame you for staying close to home. I start to get annoyed if I have to go more than 25 miles away.

nice capture – morning/pre-dusk sun has a way of lighting tall grass and bushes. and the restoration looks very nice! Mike

I think you did a terrific job with the black and white photo. That must have been a lot of work and the brown spots can be difficult.

Thanks, Lynette! It didn’t feel like a lot of work, I think because I enjoy it so much 😀

Oh my! You’re a miracle worker!
(I know it’s an aside, but as a migraine person – that smudgy rust-eye is so relatable…!!)

Thank you and yes I agree about the rusty eye. Wish I could replace our migraine pain as easily as I did her eye.
