Washington State Park is a large park in DeSoto, Missouri, USA. It has lots to offer including scenic overviews, the Big River, hiking trails, camping, cabins, an old shut down swimming pool (fun for pictures), super old pavilions with stone fireplaces, and this Petroglyph display.
The first set of pictures is the surrounding landscape when you first arrive to the area and then the boardwalk/walkway to get to the Petroglyphs.

Petroglyphs are rock carvings. These particular ones are 500-2000 years old. There are signs above the petroglyphs explaining what they mean.

All photos were taken with my Sony A7 III and edited in Lightroom.
