Snowy Landscapes and Deer in the Distance

Well, since our big snow a couple of weeks ago, the frigid temperatures remained (minus 15F windchill yesterday!) This gave street crews and parks departments time to clear the roads while the rest of the snow didn’t melt away, which meant that I could actually get around to go take snowy photos.

Taken at sunset with light dappling through some trees off camera left.
Deer in the distance. There are two! This image is cropped tightly. I don’t have a zoom lens.
Uncropped version of above image
bathed in the setting sun
more golden sunlight on bare winter trees

All taken with my Sony a7 III and slightly edited in Lightroom.

These are definitely lovely, despite the knowing how much badly I would shivering if I ever step out in amongst the woods during such weather 🙂
