This is for Debbie’s “Forgiving Fridays” post this week, which is about letting go of judgements. This past week I judged myself harshly for something, not that I did wrong per se, but what happened was I got a little mouthy when something upset me in front of a fairly conservative friend. Even though I was defending said friend, I wasn’t talking very polite and later judged myself gravely for it.
I have decided I need to let go of this judgement and know that, like these plants, I can grow and change over time.
What a coincidence! I used a harsh word with a close friend of mine. Haven’t spoken since, but you know Sheila, when you care, it happens. I just would like to stop caring less. MZ

Sheila, this is so touching to me. I read it a few times because your sharing moved my heart. I really hear your decision to forgive the judgments that you have about yourself (and maybe even your friend). That simple decision can be life changing! I’m honored to share your post for #ForgivingFridays. Feel free to contribute again, Sheila. Keep going with forgiveness – you are doing such important work. 🙂 Blessings, Debbie
