People and Sunsets

People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, “Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.” I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.

  1. I totally agree with this quote, Sheila. Sunsets and nature rarely get it wrong. Living at a Home by the Sea I am so very fortunate to see sunsets and sunrises over water nearby to my house! I never get tired of them. I love your first photo with the sun just peeping above the horizon.

      1. When I was younger, there was no way I wanted to get up early. If I was on holiday, 10am might be usual. But now I am older, I just love it. I don’t go out late so much anymore, that is one advantage of getting old, you don’t have to stay out late to have a great time socially, and thus, I love my early mornings. Plus I have a little dog that wakes me up early!

      2. Good on you. I used to do that too except maybe it was every second morning when on vacation. Now I have just retired so I can get up early all the time and not feel exhausted at the end of the day. Then I can see more sunrises before summer comes and the sun rises way too early for me… 4 am ish….
