Guess the Macro Picture November 11, 2020

I took this image with my cell phone so it is not in focus because it was taken at such a close range. Can’t take a true “macro” image with my phone, but I do have some coming this week that I took with my Sony camera that will be in focus which may make it easier to guess what the object is.

Before you scroll down, can you make a guess as to what this is a picture of?

I’ll give you a hint…

It is in honor of my 25th wedding anniversary today.

Any ideas?

  1. who says you cant take a macro photo with your phone???? i can get to with in 2 inches or so with my phone on the normal camera setting and at least that much when i use the portrait setting. “Macro photography (or photomacrography[1][2] or macrography,[3] and sometimes macrophotography[4]) is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects and living organisms like insects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size (though macrophotography also refers to the art of making very large photographs).[3][5] By the original definition, a macro photograph is one in which the size of the subject on the negative or image sensor is life size or greater.[6] In some senses, however, it refers to a finished photograph of a subject that is greater than life size.” wikipedia.
