Sony A7 III/Lightroom

After processing this photo in Lightroom, I thought it looked a little boring without much to grab my attention. So, I brought it into Snapseed and added an interesting frame that kind of aged it and then I added a vintage filter. Lastly, I increased the inner brightness on the vignette to draw the eyes towards the center of the photo to give it a point of focus.

Sony A7 III/Lightroom plus Snapseed

I was going for something a bit different and unique and I think it worked out.

I use these two editing tools most often as well as the one that is connected to my phone’s camera.

Do you edit your pictures? If so, what do you use to edit them?

I don’t use it that often. But it is nice to have as an option when I want to add something extra.

Yes I do 🙂 (edit) Only LrC or Lr then Ps then LrC to finish and print it. But, mostly I develop film first, then in the darkroom for enlargement. That is all … very boring > Sorry.

Not boring at all. I think film is in a class of its own. I admire people who use it. I wouldn’t even know where to start! I use LrC for portraits, LR for nature and ICM, and PS for old photo restoration. They are all excellent tools in my opinion.

Yes, absolutely especially now with AI … one can restore just about anything., and it is fun too. … unlike the dark and scary room. 🙂

Yes I edit. Not all the time. Sometimes the camera just doesn’t capture what “I see” so I use a bit of help. I use Snapseed since I’m on my phone or tablet. If I use the laptop, then it is the editor that came with it. Microsoft editor????

I love when I feel like a photo is finished without any editing

Oh yeah, I forgot I use Topaz AI a lot when restoring old photos because their resolution is usually terrible. I used to use it for noise reduction when I photographed indoor sports without a flash. It is a powerful product!
