According to this sign the town of Cottleville, which is the next one over from mine, was established in 1798. I didn’t find out much about this little cabin but could imagine settlers making their home in it.  Although, I am confused about the two front doors. I really should have read the plaque nearby for more information. There is a cute little library box on the porch that is for a take a book and leave a book opportunity.

Great side shot. It makes the cabin look so welcoming. But the two doors? Hm.
