Festive ICM Photography: Capturing Christmas Tree Magic

Here are some Christmas tree ICM images, since I am in a festive mood this holiday week. I took them all with my Sony a7 III camera. I will include the camera settings in the caption. I didn’t edit any of the pictures except for a small crop on a couple of them just to cut out negative space and center the lights more in the middle of the image.

(ICM No. 321) f/11, 2 sec, ISO 400
(ICM No. 322) f/11, 1.3 sec, ISO 800
(ICM No. 323) f/11, 1.3 sec, ISO 640
(ICM No. 324) f/11, 2 sec, ISO 400

This last image shows what the tree looked like at the same time the above images were made, but with a much faster shutter speed and no camera movement.

f/11, 1/25 sec, ISO 12,800. Sony a7 III. No edit.

I took a picture of my tree last week with my Pixel 6 phone that I probably edited a little bit that you can see here.

Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Many blessing to all!
