A Muddy Mess

I’ve been getting outside when it is not raining to do some spring cleaning around the house and yard. I told my spouse that maybe we should move to a maintenance free dwelling soon. I can’t do much like I could when I was in my 20s and 30s. Who can?  If they can, good for them!

My phone and I went for a walk the other day at a nearby park and took these. I need to get out with my Sony soon. Trying to wait for the trees to fill in some. Many are still so bare!

This looks like a typical Michigan spring.

house and property maintenance is a big job. i used to be a one man shop but to see the power and speed of 10 contractors working a specified job makes you think both about the time you spend trying to DIY and the intrinsic cost of the goal you are trying to achieve with the property. love the photos! Yes it is hard work. We have our list for the season and even prioritized them. We’ve let things slide for a couple years so we have some catching up to do!

I had to laugh for I KNOW what it is like to be in gardens when I am no longer 20 or 30. It is a major OUCH! And the mud? Everywhere!!! ❤️

Lol, the aches and pains come out of nowhere these days don’t they?! Hope you have a lovely, somewhat pain free, day. 😀

As with all I do, Sheila, this too I shall do my best. Amazing what the age process does, no matter how in shape one is. Oh my! LOL
