I made this picture with my Pixel phone and edited it in Lightroom. I think the trees look too sharp but I didn’t go back and fix it because I am working on not being a perfectionist. This blog is for fun. It is not a professional portfolio.

I have been here on this site for 12 years now (WordPress recently notified me of my anniversary) and I am here to share my love of photography and for the community connections. This blog is a great creative outlet for me too. It is my favorite hobby.

I wouldn’t have noticed the sharpness in the trees. I think they look fine. Great colors.

I’ve been blogging since 2012. I love landscape photography and hiking, so that’s what originally motivated me since we live near Yosemite. Then our family grew, and we now have 9 (two on the way) grandchildren. My family blog focuses on that.

Gosh, I don’t know how long I have been here on WP. But it is the third blog platform I have been on. I started on Myspace, moved to Xanga and when Xanga went under, I came here. I think I have been blogging for over 20 years overall. It is just a place to share something about me.

  I never did Myspace or heard of Xanga! I had a photo blog on WordPress a couple years before this one but started fresh when I changed its name.

I’ve been at it for a year and a half-ish. Started from nothing with no followers and now I have some. I started as a way to get my writing out into the world and to promote my novel series!!
