ICM No. 333 and Volunteering

I got out last week (I think. All my days and weeks melt together.) and made some ICM images. I love this one and how the colors melt together (like my weeks).

I’ve been busy with my volunteer work with PFLAG because June is Pride month and there were A LOT of events going on that we were involved in. I really enjoy all the behind the scenes work I get to do including helping with their social media platforms.

Do you or have you ever done volunteer work that you really enjoyed?

Beautiful colors. What does ICM stand for?

I have done volunteer work for the past 18 years, 15 years working at our local food pantry, 2 years (once a month) cooking for the homeless, and currently volunteering weekly at the library. I love doing that.

Sounds like you’re an experienced and well rounded volunteer Janet! ICM stands for intentional camera movement. I create the image by slowing down the shutter speed and moving my camera in various directions to create a blurred effect. It is quite fun to see how they turn out.

I’ll have to try that technique and see what happens. 🙂

A subject with pretty colors works really well in my experience. Have fun!
