I am on the last day of a week of steroids to get me out of this terrible migraine loop I’ve been in for 5 weeks. I have clusters of them days in a row with a day or two break before the next cycle begins. They reached a point to where they were triggering the next one to the next one to the next one. Apparently there can be “neuronal inflammation and excitability” (according to the Internet) that is so exacerbated that “many people in my situation benefit from a short dose of steroids” to calm everything back down, per my neurologist. It is helping, thank goodness. Let’s keep it up now!
