The Boardwalk Marsh

There’s a boardwalk bordering a marsh in a neighborhood close to mine.

The cattails were filling most of it to my disappointment. It is usually much more open than this which makes for better photos in my opinion.

I did find a small area that wasn’t completely taken over by the vegetation, however.

I ventured out at 7am with my Sony a7III to make these before the high temperatures came later with a heat index of 110°F.

I used Lightroom to edit.

Great photos Sheila, I especially love nos 2&3. That looks like a great spot and close by too, superb.
I did have to look up what 110°F was in Celsius and Wow! – over 43°C – that’s crazy hot!!
We had a heatwave over here at just over 30°C roughly 86°F so I can’t imagine what that’s like!! I think my camera would melt along with me🤣🤣!!

Yes and not only is it crazy hot but very humid as well which makes it feel even worse. I am thankful for air conditioning. What part of the world are you located in?

        I’m in the UK – N.Ireland specifically.
And where I’m situated, it would be cooler than the likes of London, but probably not as cold as the north of Scotland.
