I took out my old Sony A68 camera and made some images with a 50mm prime lens. My newer Sony A7 III with a 24-70mm lens is superior in all ways except that it is bulky big and heavy due to the lens. But I love the lens. It is just more difficult to walk around with when taking landscape and other nature pictures.

The A68 with the 50mm prime was super light and easy to move around with but I think I will go back to the Sony A7 III in order to capture more rich in color and detailed images.

This week will be mostly A68 photos. And then I will post some from an upcoming camping trip on which I will use the A7 III.

    very nice monochrome shot

i know what you mean regarding the total setup weight. one would never think that the glass would become heavy until you’ve spent an hour or two walking around with it! Mike

Lovely! It looked almost furry – but that might be my eyes not the tree!
