I’m learning about colour schemes this week at a photo prompt challenge at Something to Ponder About’s blog.
I believe with the blues and purples in this photo I took during a sunset one evening this would fall under the category of “analogous.”
I agree that analogous color schemes are pleasing to the eye which is probably why I am so drawn to nature photography.

Beautiful photograph! Thank you for the breakdown on color schemes as well. That is super useful information. I can never seem to remember it off the top of my head. I think I will print it up and post it on the wall!

Thank you! I can never remember the color schemes either. I didn’t realize nature creates analogous color schemes more often than not which I thought was interesting.
