I Can’t Decide

Sometimes I can’t decide which orientation I like better so I take and post them both!

I like how it shows how deep the crop field is

I prefer the second photo in Landscape and avoid using Portrait when possible. It’s like when people hold their phone vertical for a video, no! Always use landscape for video.

I hear you. The advantage of portrait is it shows up better for social media on people’s phones

I guess it would but I’m just stuck in my ways, Sheila. Old photographers don’t bend easily… 🤭😂

I’m an old photographer but I don’t bend well because my spine is the issue, not my mind. 😏

I like seeing both since for me they communicate different ideas. The first one shows the corn field relative to the surrounding hills – the work of humans contrasting with the power of natural formations. The second one shows the reverse. I like both photos and would also find it hard to pick one. Cheers.

Oh I love your insights, Lynette. Maybe that is why I was drawn to both.

If this was a maths test, I think I’d fail because I can’t show my working out 🤣!!
But I prefer the portrait image edit for this particular shot. I don’t know why, but it just seems the better image!!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who wonders about this stuff!!😜

😂. That’s what I love about photography…sometimes it is merely about the “feel” of image
